Don’t write a bug report.
Have a whinge.

Keep your train of thought. Whinge saves your words and the screen you pointed at.

  1. Say “let’s whinge”

Start from the menu bar or terminal. Say “let’s whinge” and a chime tells you it’s recording.

  2. Scribble on it

Grab a marker from the floating toolbar and circle, underline or cross out whatever’s bugging you. Clear it to move on to your next point.

  3. Save the recording

When you stop, Whinge saves a local folder with the live transcript and selected screenshots.

Your whinge, in your files.

Recordings go to Documents/Whinges by default. Choose another folder in Settings or pass --output DIR when you start from the terminal. Other tools can use the saved transcript and screenshots whenever you want.

Transcribed on your Mac.

Your speech becomes text on-device. The transcript, screenshots and recordings stay in the folder you choose.

While you whinge, the privacy screen hides your desktop icons, and your other apps if you like, so they stay out of the recording.

Get it off your chest. Get on with your work.
