What is Whinge?

Whinge records your screen, microphone and drawings while you talk through a problem. It saves a local folder with the live transcript and selected screenshots. Other tools can read that folder later; Whinge does not run project instructions or process it automatically.

How a whinge goes

  1. Start one. Choose Start Whinge from the menu bar, run whinge start, or open whinge://start. Another app can use either interface.
  2. Start recording. Say an enabled start phrase or press Record on the toolbar.
  3. Talk and draw. Clear the ink between points to mark topics and capture screenshots.
  4. Stop. Whinge saves in Documents/Whinges by default, or a folder chosen in Settings or with whinge start --output DIR.
