What's in a recording

Each whinge is a folder in Documents/Whinges by default. You can change the location in Settings or pass --output DIR when starting from the command line.

A topic runs from one clear to the next. Screenshots prefer the exact frame captured when ink was cleared or drawing stopped, then use video frames for points without a live snapshot. Near-duplicate frames are omitted. The timestamp origin is shared by video, audio and the timeline.

If Whinge quits during recording, it offers to save what was captured when it next opens. You can delete a recording folder whenever you no longer need it.
